The Comet Cafe Final will be help at the Charles City Elks Lodge, cost is $13. .....Father/Daughter Sweetheart Dance in NH

Saturday February 11th - 5pm

The New Hampton Park & Rec as well as the New Horizons Chamber in New Hampton is sponsoring a Father and Daughter Sweetheart Dance which is for fathers (or grandfathers) and their daughter(s) to enjoy a night of dining and dancing. A professional photographer will be taking pictures beginning at 5pm, a spaghetti dinner at 5:30pm and dancing will follow until 8pm. This will take place at the Chickasaw Event Center, 301 North Water Ave in New Hampton. $25 per father/daughter and $10 per additional daughter. Registration is required, stop by the NH Park and Rec office and fill out a form by Friday Feb 3rd. Also of note, this is formal so please come dressed in your best!

.....Adoption Awareness Fundraiser

Saturday February 11th - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

A night of raising awareness and funds for adoption will take place at the Charles City Sleep Inn & Suites. This will be a jazz and dessert fundraiser presented by Xio's Voice. The evening will feature music by Nova Jazz, coffee from Aromas and desserts from local bakers. There will also be a silent auction of art and hand crafted items. The Osage Chamber of Commerce invites you to share in an evening of endless possibilities! Join them at the Cedar River Complex in Osage featuring Deuces Wild, dueling pianos.$50 per ticket, you must be 21 years old to attend. Trip giveaway entry, hors d'oeuvres and champagne as well as raffle and auction items. Tickets available at the Osage Chamber office and at the CRC. Proceeds benefit Chamber sponsored events and programs.

Harvest Church in New Hampton invites the community to a Hymn Sing. Participants will get to sing their favorite hymns and refreshments will be served following the event.
